Student Rules

Students of Sengunthar Public School are expected to maintain punctuality, regular attendance, and proper discipline at all times. They must attend school in neat uniform, carry their school diary daily, and complete all assigned work sincerely. Respect towards teachers, fellow students, and school property is considered essential, and students are encouraged to maintain good manners and positive behavior within and outside the campus.

Discipline Policy

The school maintains a strict discipline policy to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all. Any form of misconduct, including damage to school property, use of inappropriate language, or violation of school rules, will be dealt with seriously. Students are expected to follow ethical conduct, and repeated indiscipline may lead to strict action as per school regulations.

Attendance & Punctuality

Regular attendance is mandatory for all students, and they are expected to arrive at school before the first bell. A minimum attendance percentage must be maintained to be eligible for examinations, and absence without proper intimation may lead to disciplinary action. Continuous irregularity in attendance or late coming will not be encouraged.

Examination Rules

Students must strictly adhere to examination guidelines and maintain honesty during all assessments. Any form of malpractice, copying, or unfair means during examinations will result in strict disciplinary action, including disqualification. Students are expected to prepare sincerely and follow all instructions given by the invigilators.

Behaviour Guidelines

Students are expected to exhibit respectful and responsible behavior at all times. They should avoid bringing prohibited items such as mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or valuables to school. Maintaining cleanliness, following instructions, and behaving courteously with everyone are integral parts of the school culture.

General Regulations

Students must take care of school property and are responsible for any damage caused. Participation in school activities, adherence to transport rules, and following safety instructions are mandatory. The school expects every student to uphold its values and contribute positively to maintaining discipline and harmony.
